Introduction

I consider Rival software to be above average for a smaller group. Games have quality graphics and features. Games are very fast. A skilled player can complete more than 1000 hands of blackjack per hour. The basic games are there, but few specialty games beyond the basics. Some games have a noticeable Microgaming influence. For example, video poker and keno payouts match Microgaming. However, payouts for several table games are superior to Microgaming, as well as other software providers. Rival offers one of the best paytables I have seen for Caribbean Stud Poker and Let It Ride. A highlight of the software is listing payouts of games in their help files. I wish other softwares would take this approach. i-Slots with storylines and multiple levels are an interesting alternative to typical video slots, but many Rival slots lack imaginative features and quality bonus rounds. Some players have had noted errors with this software, such as slot wagering stakes being reduced. A minor error that I find annoying is the software recentering itself such that it covers a portion of my Windows task bar, each time I open a game.
