FORTUNE LOUNGE WARNING

On 3/9/07, many players were banned from their Fortune Lounge accounts for unclear reasons called "suspicious activities." Some affected players had not used their accounts in months. Some players had their winnings confiscated and deposit returned. Fortune Lounge later returned winnings to many of these players, likely due to eCOGRA intervention. Fortune Lounge claims that they have paid the players who were not involved in fraud.

A Fortune Lounge rep wrote, "This is a case where players purchase the minimum required to receive the offer (no problem with this) wager the full amount on one hand of a low risk game and, if they win, proceed to play only French Roulette, betting on red or black / odds or evens to meet the wagering requirements and then to cash in and disappear." Some players have reported similar problems months after this incident, including confiscated winnings. These players were able to recover their winnings through eCOGRA. After the incident, Fortune Lounge modified their T&Cs to state,

"Before any withdrawals are processed, your play will be reviewed for any irregular playing patterns e.g. playing of equal, zero margin bets or hedge betting, which all shall be considered irregular gaming for bonus play-through requirement purposes. Other examples of irregular game play include but are not limited to, placing single bets using your entire or the majority of your account balance, where the majority of that balance is made up of bonus balance. The Casino reserves the right to decide in its sole discretion which activities constitute "irregular play" for bonus play-through requirement purposes from time-to-time and to withhold any cash-ins where irregular play has occurred to meet bonus play-through requirements."

If you do choose to play at a Fortune Lounge casino, I'd recommend using a different strategy than the large bets described above. Instead be creative in game choices and don't play like everyone else.

After claiming several sign-up bonuses from the Fortune Lounge group without non-bonus play in between, players may be banned from receiving further Fortune Lounge bonuses. Players who are banned from receiving FL bonuses can still play at the casinos without bonuses. You can avoid this problem by making a deposit and playing using an existing account before claiming additional bonus offers within the group.

The Fortune Lounge group includes the following casinos: 7 Sultans, EuroPalace, Fortune Room, Platinum Play, Royal Vegas, and Vegas Palms. Thunderluck is an independent casino that the group supports. The Russian casino Goldfishka has a loose connection to the group as well.
