Bonus Description

Party Casino dramatically changed their sign-up bonus in June 2009. The standard sign-up is 500, spilt into 4 deposits -- 200 and 100 x3. To cashout the bonus, you must accumulate 4x500 = 2000 party points. To withdraw winnings + deposit, you must accumulate 15% of your deposit in party points. For a 500 deposit, this is 75 party points. Party points accumulate at different rates for different games. The highest EV option I see is Texas Hold'em Bonus, which requires 50 wagered per party point. There are many alternative games with lower wagering that may be more desirable in spite of the lower EV. With Texas Hold'em bonus, it would be ~8xB on THB to withdraw winnings and 200xB to withdraw the bonus. Note that Party bonuses are given pre-wager, making two-tier betting a good option. See the T&C for more information. Note that the bonus rules have changed since this review was written, so their early withdrawal policy could have changed. I will update this page when more specific information is available.

 

Past Warning

In June 2007, a Blackjackinfo forum poster reported the following number of dealer upcards with Party Casino Multi-player Blackjack. Note that the dealer has a disproportionately low number of 3, 4, and 6. These upcards favor the player, while the tens and face cards favor the dealer. The chance of this distribution occurring randomly is extremely low. After seeing the odd results, an independent auditor repeated the dealer upcard test on the game Single Player Blackjack, in December 2007. This time the distribution was normal, as listed in the right column of the table below. In Jan 2008, another player recorded a large amount of data on the game Single Deck Blackjack. Again the results were normal. Most players seem to have normal results at Party, so I think there is little risk of problems.
