Summary
Select two player cards and three board cards (the flop). You can make the card selections by either scrolling over the large cards and clicking on the deck of small cards, or by entering the cards manually using the text boxes. The text box entry is in the form 2D = 2 of diamonds, TS = ten of spades, KH = king of hearts, etc. When using text entry, you can use the tab button to quickly move from one box to the next. The calculator will return the strategy decision that has the highest EV, either "Raise" or "Fold." The optimization selection only alters strategy decisions for close calls when the EV is between -1.016 and -1. The calculator assumes a standard paytable (100/20/10/3/2/1). I believe this paytable is used with all softwares offering casino hold'em. Use the alternate calc for modified paytables or if you prefer the original checkbox style of entry.
