Default New Free Blackjack Book

A 540 page Blackjack book is now available online at qfit.com/book/index.htm.

I hope this isn't considered SPAM.

If anybody does consider it spam they shouldn't.
Nice to see you've ventured this far into cyberspace Norm - your insight into all aspects of play is always appreciated.

This is a crude marketing tactic Norm, you were lucky aka didn't just delete it. (Try introducing yourself next time, not everyone knows who you are. )

Which would have been a pity because this looks like an excellent e-book, much better than most available commercial blackjack texts. I heartily recommend it and have enjoyed reading it so far.

Not sure how it can be a "crude marketing tactic" since it's free. In any case, the site owner is welcome to delete it.

The chapter about counting systems and simulations looks very interesting. Thanks for sharing so many info.

Looks an excellent resource. I'll certainly be adding it my site, with a write-up.

Why has the KO count been rebranded "REKO"? There is no substantive difference whatsoever.

Trademark issues? Copyright?

Seems like an artifice. Not keen.

Actually it's very different. All indexes have the same value for any number of decks. Or, you can look at it as having no indexes. And yet it is as powerful as KO.

Well, my KO book is currently in the attic, but as I recall, the only relevant indices (15 v. 10 etc) were at the pivot. Those at the "key count" or whatever it was called are largely irrelevant, I suppose because the pivot is the only always accurate, the key count is not without a true conversion. As such, in six deck you would only utilise indices at +24 and above (starting from zero), those at, err, 16, was it? - would be disregarded.

I'll have a better look and see if I can get what you mean. It still looks like an artifice to me (sorry).

In single-deck, KO has indexes of +4, +2 and 0
In double-deck, KO has indexes of +4, +1 and -4
At six decks, KO has indexes of +4 and -4
At eight decks, KO has indexes of +4 and -6

REKO has all indexes at +2 for any number of decks. Or No indexes at all, just two basic strategies.

It is far simpler to learn. If you had index flash cards (hand on one side and index on the other) all the answers would be the same, +2. And yet it has the same power as KO. That's why it's called Ridiculously Easy KO.
