Default Canbet "Irregular Play" clause

From their Sportsbetting promotions T&C:

3. Irregular Play
3.1 Before any withdrawals are processed, play will be reviewed for any irregular betting patterns e.g. placing of equal or zero margin bets, or hedge betting, which all shall be considered irregular wagering for bonus wagering requirements. Other examples of irregular betting for wagering requirements include, but are not limited to, placing single bets using the entire (or majority) of your account balance on a single bet, where the majority of that balance is made up of bonus balance.
3.2 The Sportsbook shall reserve the right to decide at its sole discretion which activities constitute "irregular bets" for bonus wagering requirement purposes, and may at any time withhold any withdrawals where irregular play has occurred in order to meet wagering requirements.

It's an exact copy of the same clause in the casino T&C. Are they actually enforcing this for the sportsbetting? No idea trying to bust out when >50% of your balance consists of the bonus?

It would be really rogue if they actually enforced this, since you need to bet your complete balance for your bets to actually count for wagering.

Having a discussion with support atm. They claim only bets using the bonus balance counts towards turnover. They even suggest to "use your complete account balance (Cash and bonus balance) to place bets" so they can't possibly be enforcing the "Irregular Play" clause.

And they often like to limit your bets, so say you deposit 500 for a 100 bonus and you actually manage to get your full 600 on 2.00 odds and win, the next time you'll need to get 1200 on a match, which they won't accept. That way you'll never be able to complete the rollover unless you lose big.

And since bonus balance gradually decreases (similiar to a clearplay bonus), full balance bets counts less and less to the turnover. In an extreme case, you could end up with 10 in bonus money and basically any amount in real money. You now have to get your full balance in six times to clear the last 10 bonus money.

This rule is even worse than the "Irregular Play" clause. However, it is not mentioned in their terms and conditions, only at http://www.canbet.com/whatsnew/sportsbook-freebet.aspx (a page not relevant to most promotions). I will try to reason with them but I think they will enforce it anyway.

Can't see the point of this, I think it will impact their business. Recreational players will be the ones who don't read the terms completely before loading up the book, and it will turn into a bad experience for them.

The term makes it near impossible to clear any WR.

I notice there is a term stating that if you have placed a bet using part or all of the bonus balance, the bonus cannot be forefited. I take it you can still withdraw your cash balance? (I'd be inclined to do so and stop playing there).

I'm stuck in the Canbet T&C's as well. Unfortunately I didn't lose a highly unlikely qualifying bet , so now i have a big cash balance and almost no chance of meeting the WR.

This is from the terms: "As a player meets the turnover (wagering) requirements of the promotional bonus issued, the bonus balance is decreased in increments of £/$/€ 10.00 and added to the Cash Balance. After fulfilling the total turnover requirements on your New Player Bonus, you can withdraw from your Cash Balance at any time. Withdrawals made prior to the fulfilment of this turnover requirement shall result in the Bonus Balance and any winnings credited to the Cash Balance being forfeited. Please refer to the terms and conditions of the bonus offer for more details."

Does this mean, that if I forfeit the bonus, I also lose the winnings of my qualifying bet? Nevermind the loss of bonus, but giving up my own money transfered via the bet matcing would be horrible.

Any ideas as to how I proceed?

Aussie books are the worst, clueless operators just out to screw punters. Regulation my arse, you want to bet sport hassle free, go with the US or Asian mobs. Much fairer operators.
